Roman Baths
The Banos de Hedionda has been used for hundreds of years and again was built by the Romans around the 1st century AD. Julius Caesar had a path built after he was cured of a skin complaint when he was Proconsul of Baetica 63-60 century BC.
Located on the Rio Manilva and a few kilometres inland just past the Sunday Market and near the Roman Oasis restaurant, is a great place for a picnic and to relax, with the sulphur waters rising from a spring this roman built bath is still used today.
