If you’re into walking or hiking there are many to choose from in the local area, from a gentle stroll along the beach to more invigorating hill walks.

Wine Tasting
The region of Manilva is surrounded by vineyards and in recent years the local wine industry has blossomed.
Nilva, is a local wine, visit their website here.
They offer wine tasting and tours of their wine museum, this region has been growing wine since the Romans.
Bike Hire
Cycling along the promenade next to the beach front from Duquesa Port to Castillo or Sabinillas by bicycle is a flat ride with no hills to worry about and a distance of approx 4 kilometres one way, there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments on your journey.

Castle in Castillo
Visit the 1767 castle with it’s Roman archaeological and fencing museums.
Roman Baths
The Banos de Hedionda has been used for hundreds of years and again was built by the Romans around the 1st century AD. Julius Caesar had a path built after he was cured of a skin complaint when he was Proconsul of Baetica 63-60 century BC.
Located on the Rio Manilva and a few kilometres inland.
Torre del Sol
This 2 floored square tower sits on a headland at Casares Costa, dating back to 1528 it was built on foundations of an existing Moorish structure.
The tower is now locked but open for special occasions, couples have weddings here during the summer.
