Real Club Valderrama has been at the heart of professional golf for decades, quietly building a reputation as one of Europe’s most respected courses. Over the years, it has welcomed some of the game’s biggest moments, including the Volvo Masters, which concluded the European Tour season here on 16 occasions between 1988 and 2008. The course has also played host to other landmark events, such as the inaugural World Golf Championship – American Express Championship in 1999 and 2000, along with the much-loved Andalucía Valderrama Masters, held across several seasons between 2010 and 2022.
Today, Valderrama continues to attract global attention while staying true to its relaxed yet prestigious atmosphere. Its addition to the LIV Golf League calendar with the LIV Golf Andalucía tournament has brought a fresh energy to the course, drawing top players from around the world and giving visitors yet another reason to experience this iconic golfing destination.
