“El Brujo” Brings Greek Tragedy and Comedy to Estepona

Iconos o la exploración del destino (Icons, or an Exploration of Destiny) comes to the Felipe VI Theatre on 10 October at 21:00.

This comic monologue takes fate in Greek tragedy as its starting point, weaving through the stories of Medea, Oedipus, Antigone and finally Hecuba. The show sets this driving force of destiny alongside Hindu mythology, where the concept of karma brings freedom into the workings of fate. Throughout, these themes are interspersed with the performer’s own autobiographical stories, told with a comic, parodic touch.
