Estepona’s multicultural community takes centre stage on the seafront this weekend as the city’s Compartiendo Culturas programme continues with two celebrations showcasing British and Ukrainian culture.

On Saturday 26 September, the Paseo Marítimo will host British Day from 5 pm to 10 pm. Visitors can enjoy an evening of live music and dance, alongside market and food stalls offering a taste of British culture. The entertainment programme includes live performances from Sunset Flyers, Doña Julia Line Dancers, Del Sol Singers with Karen Danzig, Band O’Leros and Gary Fearon.

The following day, Sunday 27 September, turns the spotlight to Ukraine, with Ukraine Day running from midday until 9 pm. The programme includes a craft market, masterclasses and traditional Ukrainian food, followed by a gala concert featuring Ukrainian artists and groups from across the Costa del Sol. A charity raffle will also form part of the day’s activities.

Both celebrations take place beside the Monument to the Peseta on Estepona’s Paseo Marítimo and are part of the third edition of Compartiendo Culturas, an initiative designed to bring the city’s many international communities together through music, food, traditions and cultural activities.

With plenty of live entertainment, food, markets and cultural experiences across the two days, it is a great opportunity to discover more about two of the communities that form part of modern Estepona.
