Manilva Getting Back to Normal After Covid 19!

Hi from the team at Viva Manilva, firstly we want to wish all the essential services a big Thank You for all of your efforts in keeping us safe.

Emergency service, Doctors and Nurses on the front line and all of the staff in supermarkets and shops for staying open and keeping us supplied with essentials during these past few months.

Now we are in the process of easing lock down restrictions after what has seemed an age. From this week the beginning of May local restaurants have been offering delivery services and the coming weeks will see further easing allowing bars, restaurants, hairdressers etc to open from May 11th with restrictions in place. Lets get back out there and support these local businesses, tourism is going to be very low in numbers this year and many rely on the tourists to keep their business afloat for the year.

Local charities have been inundated with requests for help in these trying times and continue to help those in need, if you would like to help there are food banks in Supersol, Eroski and Iceland in Pueblo Nuevo.

Duquesa Charitable Society of St George

Having just spoken with Judith who runs the charity says” This will be an ongoing situation for the rest of the year, with donations of non perishable food items as well as monetary donations being very important to help the 130 plus local families we support with food and clothing.” From us we Thank You and all the volunteers who help the charity.

For more information about making a donation you can visit their Facebook page here.

If you have a local business and would like a free listing contact us and we will be happy to add you to our business directory.

Stay Safe!
