We was going to give you list of upcoming and present events in Manilva but as of today 23/07 there has been some cancellations due to the Covid figures increasing in the region, in fact across most of the coastal areas in Spain.

The local council is trying to keep the rate of infections down that is why these festivals have been cancelled and reduce to gathering of too many people.

Recent cancelled events:

  • VIII Night Ramble
  • Festival Santa Ana
  • Manilva Feria

So far the Medieval Market in Castillo is still on and that will move onto Sabinillas on the 27th July.

Not surprisingly the covid infection figures have increased due to the number of visitors to area with some towns moving into higher risk levels.

As far as we know the evening market by La Noria is still on along with some music concerts, you can get details on our What´s On page.

If you have not been vaccinated and are registered with the Manilva, Sabinillas and Casares Health Centres you can turn up to get your vaccine, this Saturday 24th July, more details in the poster below.

From 9:30 to 14:30 at the Sabinillas Health Center, people aged 40 or older will be able to get the Janssen single dose vaccine with no appointment.

New schedule for the Roman Baths:

From 11:00 to 19:00 In order to avoid large groups using the baths, Casares City Council has launched a series of measures that highlight the limitations of capacity to 24 people, you will need to make a reservation that is required to access at peak hours, set from 11.00 to 19.00 hours from 2 July to 9 September.
