Boasting 3 golf courses, Finca Cortisen including a 5 star hotel, quality restaurants, spa and beach club, Casares Costa has a 9 hole golf course, with the Brassiere restaurant which includes a gym, spa and an 18 hole footgolf course which is becoming a popular and growing sport on the Costa del Sol.

Further along the A7 towards Sabinillas at the Venta la Choza restaurant turn off, the 18 hole golf course Dona Julia is only a few hundred metres on the left.

Torre de la Sal

Heading towards the coast just before getting to the A7 coast road there is a park Jardines Del Rosario with bar La Terracita just inside the entrance and opposite a five a side football and basketball pitch, this also has a fenced in dog agility course.

The beach at Playa De La Sal just off the A7 roundabout is very popular with tourists and locals with a wide sandy beach that leads to Playa Ancha and merges with Playa Sabinillas, the beach is great for walking along or you can use the paved promenade that will take you all the way to Sabinillas then onto Duquesa and Castillo.

This small bay with its sandy beach is the home of Chiringuito La Sal which normally opens mid April and closes end of October and offers spectacular views west towards Sabinillas, Gibraltar and the North coast of Africa.

Heading east around the small bay towards the Torre del Sal (salt tower) you have a couple of sheltered beaches that sit in front of the La Perla apartment’s complex before you reach the beach club Finca Cortisen. The beach club has a large pool just by the beach and is used by Finca Cortisen Hotel guests and holiday makers visiting the area, also during the summer months this is a venue for weddings and parties.

Just set back from the Torre del Sal there is another Chiringuito, Bahia Beach. The views from here look towards Estepona and the Marbella coastline.

Following the beach or promenade from the Torre del Sal takes you to Playa Piedra Paloma, this is the only official dog beach in Andalucia and marks the boundary between Casares and Estepona.
