During the weekend of June 8 and 9, one of the most traditional celebrations of the municipality, the Pilgrimage of Manilva, will return, one more year, to gather neighbours and visitors in the emblematic spot of the shrine of the baths.

In this way, the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Father Jesus Nazareno, together with the Delegation of Culture, are already preparing this new edition in honour of Our Lady of Fatima.

On Saturday, June 8, at 10:30 in the morning, the Holy Mass and Blessing of the Pilgrim will take place at the Santa Ana Church.

Next, the Virgin of Fatima will be transported to the aforementioned chapel, accompanied by the Club Senderista Los Kruos and the Peña Caballero de Manilva.

Once there, there will be a floral offering of the horsemen to the Virgin and the recitation of the Holy Rosary.

Attendees can also taste the traditional local soup.

During that day there will be live music by various musical groups.

On Sunday, June 9, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the Holy Mass Romera will be celebrated, officiated by the parish priest D. José Antonio Melgar and sung by the Choir of the School of Music.
