The Delegation of Festivities of the City of Manilva has organized the fair of San Luis de Sabinillas that will take place from Thursday 22nd to Sunday 25th August in the Plaza Vicente Espinel.
The day of celebrations will begin with the coronation of the feria Queens, as well as that of the Queen at 10 pm. You can enjoy a music and dance show by the Latidos group. On the day attractions will cost only €1 from 9 pm.
On Friday 23rd, the day will begin at 8.00 with a musical parade by the Charanga band, who will also liven up the parade of floats that will take place at 20.00 next to the Escuela de Expresión Corporal directed by Jessica Quiñones.
The turning on of the lights at 22.00 will be the inauguration of the San Luis fair. The proclamation will be by Juan Manuel Oliva Rondón, municipal decorator who every year dazzles with his creations on the Night of San Juan. After this emotional intervention, the Municipal School of Music and Dance will delight us with a show. That same day at 23.00 you can enjoy the musical performance of the Atrium orchestra and the group Latidos.
Saturday 24 starts at 11.00 with popular games on the Playa del Cali, by the Brotherhood of the Virgen del Carmen and San Luis de Sabinillas. At 14.00 the day fair will open with the music of Flamenco Compás and the Latidos group.
From 22.30 the Atrium orchestra will take the stage and continue to liven up the evening with the group Latidos. At 00.00 the singer Erika Leiva will present her new show “+ Que Copla”. An orchestra will continue to delight attendees until closing.
Sunday 25 will begin at 20.00 with the celebration of a Holy Mass in honor of the patron of the town. At the event, organized by the Delegation of Culture and the Brotherhood of the Virgen del Carmen and San Luis de Sabinillas, the choir of the Municipal School of Music will sing. A procession will follow the main streets of the town accompanied by the Manilva Band.
At 22.00 you can enjoy the performance of the Municipal Escuela de Expresión Corporal and then the group Los Mundos de Yupi, which will play the great themes of the Golden Age of Spanish Pop. At 00.30 a fireworks show will end the San Luis Fair.
The mayor in charge of the Party Delegation, Daniel Muñoz, invites neighbors and visitors to attend one of the most popular events in our town.
