The Moon Party in Sabinillas has become a popular event, though the discrepancy between the chosen date and the actual lunar phase can cause some confusion among attendees. This year, just like last, the organisers have simplified the event’s name by removing the word “Full,” branding it simply as the “Moon Party.”

Despite this minor inconsistency, Councillor for Tourism Dean Shelton assures that the festival will feature a wide array of activities for all ages. The programme includes aerial acrobatics, parades, a market, live music, and DJs, promising a night full of entertainment.

21:00: Opening of the Moon Party, official toast, and wine tasting.
21:30 – 23:30: Parade of stilt walkers.
21:45: First performance of the air show.
22:00 – 23:00: Music on the 4 stages.
23:00: Second performance of the air show.
23:15: First performance of the 80s concert by the group Kassia.
00:00: Greeting from the Government Team.
00:05: Ball throwing and various shows. Music with DJs.
00:30: Second performance of the 80s concert.
Ban on “Chinese Lanterns”:
As in previous years, “Chinese lanterns” and any devices that could cause fires are prohibited during the celebration to ensure everyone’s safety.
