Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de Las Flores in Estepona, will host, from Friday, October 5, at 7:00 p.m., until October 23, the pictorial exhibition “Life full of colors”, by the Ukrainian artist Vladyslava May.

Vladyslava May (Vladyslava Maiboroda) was born in Ukraine and, since childhood was attracted by the sheer beauty of nature in her frequent walks through the parks, accompanied by her grandmother, absorbing the different colors of the trees and the sky at different times of the year.

At the age of 5, and encouraged by her grandfather, who had a great talent for painting, she began to collect stamps, especially those that wore the paintings of the National Gallery of Hermitage with images of famous painters, such as Aivazovskij, Levitan and Shyshkin .

From her mother, singer and theatre actress … she inherited a taste for music and song, a passion that led her to study piano and singing and ballet.

Established on the Costa del Sol, she began to express her love for art in painting. First she started with watercolor, with only three colors, painting a flower on the terrace, spontaneously and unexpectedly, until she delved into this and other arts, such as dance or singing, as well as architecture and interior design.

The landscape, especially the sea and sky, and the way of life of Andalusia, aroused love and passion and the need to express her feelings through the brushes.

The purpose of the artist is to show her particular world of colors in this exhibition, which can be visited until October 23 at the regular time of the Casa de las Tejerinas: Mondays from 09:00 to 15:30, Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, with free admission.
