Young and old alike eagerly await the magical night of January 5, but few know the origin of this wonderful tradition that has endured to this day, and that each year comes loaded with gifts and illusions.

The Gospel tells that some wizards from the East were guided by a star to worship the king who had just been born. Upon hearing this news, Herod the Great, who was king of Judea at that time, sent for them to question them, and made them promise that once they found the child they would notify him so that he could worship him too. After leaving the palace and being guided by the star, the magi found the child in a stable in Bethlehem, along with Mary and Joseph, to whom they offered gold, the metal of kings; incense, the offering of the gods; and myrrh, as an announcement of his future suffering.

Manilva is already prepared to receive the Three Wise Men from the East so that they can tour the streets of Manilva, Sabinillas and El Castillo.
